Risacher live up to hype – shines in NBA preseason
In his preseason debut, the number one pick Zaccharie Risacher scored 18 points to go along with three rebounds and two assists. As the Hawks defeated Indiana Pacers 131-130, in a close game in Atlanta.
Risacher scored the same amount of points as in his Summer Leauge debut. But now alongside players like Trae Young and Clint Capella. The Later wich he assisted with a through the legs bounce pass in transition.
“I was super excited for the game. This whole process, you know, training camp and everything, that was the start of something great. I was super excited and I am glad that it went well,” the French rookie said post game.
The young forward shot seven of nine from the field, including three threes. The game winner was scored by Lundy with only three tenths of a second left on the clock.
French teenagers impress
Another 19-year old Frenchmen impressed on tuesday night. Tidjane Salaun went for 15 points, eight rebounds, three assists, and one steal, as the Hornets defeated Pelle Larssons Heat.
The number two pick Alex Sarr has also had an encouraging start to the preseasson. The french big man came under heavy criticism after his performance during the Summer Leuge, were he shot under 20 percent from the floor and finnished a game scoreless on 15 shots. In the Wizards win against the Raptors he finished with 15 points, three rebounds and four assists, shooting 75 percent from the field.
